Path of the Necromancer offers a more affordable, more strategic card game experience.
Weapons of Power is a 17-card mini-pack that introduces Weapons to Path of the Necromancer: you get 9 unique Weapons at their full deck-legal playset counts (based on rarity) plus 2 quick rule cards. Weapons attach to your Hero, enable them to attack (Heroes can only attack while equipped) and defend, and feature Attack/Defense stats with Defense refreshing at end of each turn; if a Weapon’s Defense hits 0, it’s destroyed and excess damage pierces your Hero. Equip into Main-Hand/Off-Hand (or a Two-Hand that uses both); One-Hand fits either slot; equipping into an occupied slot replaces the old Weapon. Each Weapon can defend once per round and can be targeted directly, letting opponents choose between breaking your gear or hitting your Hero. Grab the pack and start forging new strategies!

We aim to maximize backward compatibility for new heroes, playstyles, and mechanics, ensuring that the majority of cards in each hero deck can be easily combined with older decks. While we strive to make new content compatible, there will be a select few heroes whose unique mechanics may present more challenges for integration, though we intend to keep such instances to a minimum. This approach allows for innovation without sacrificing the overall synergy between decks.
